      African Americans talk and treat black Africans as if the come from a bush. My kids were born and lived in places that are far more civilized and advanced in many ways compared to many places where African Americans grow up, yet the minute you say you are from Africa, you get treated like you have never seen electricity or a lift.   In my opinion, African-Americans are treated better than their black African counterparts when they travel abroad. Black Americans’ and Canadians’ glowing reports (including mine) of how they are welcomed with open arms in Thailand, Russia, and Italy contrast sharply with harrowing accounts of racial persecution in those same countries.
